Community-Based Health Education
The aim is to promote health and wellness and provide preventive health information and resources to communities in BC and Africa
Our maiden community-based health education project was organized in Ghana- West Africa. We visited thirteen communities under 3 administrative regions in Ghana, and visited two(2) Junior High Schools in Eastern (Boti) and Volta region (Alavanyo-Wudidi). We had an intensive discussion with the students on developmental changes in adolescents and menstrual hygiene with the help of our guest from various health facilities. Through this project, we empowered individuals and families to make informed decisions about their health and help them to adapt to healthy lifestyles. We also donated various items to over 1000 local people we visited to support their needs and improve their health.
We look forward to collaborating with International Nonprofit organizations, local health experts, community organizations, and volunteers. We aim to create a supportive environment for improving well-being and reducing the burden of preventable diseases. We believe that by working together, we can create a healthier, happier, and more vibrant community for all.
